Parish Council

In order to advance the mission of the Church of St. Peter, the Parish Council will serve as a voice of the people and act as an advisory and consultative body to the Pastor and Pastoral Staff.

The council will assist the Pastor and Pastoral Staff in discerning, formulating, implementing and evaluating the priorities and goals of the parish.

 The Council’s functions are to:

• Foster the spiritual growth and renewal of the parish first and foremost by being a model of prayer, cooperation, celebration and service.

• Develop and renew a pastoral plan for the ministries and life of the parish. The Council will work in cooperation with the pastoral staff and the parish membership.

• Develop, recommend and review pastoral policies.

• Encourage open communication with members of the parish community.
