What is Divine Mercy Sunday? (April 7th, 2024) In a series of revelations to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska in the 1930s, our Lord called for a special feast day to be celebrated on the Sunday after Easter. Today, we know that feast as Divine Mercy Sunday, named by Pope St. John Paul II at the canonization of St. Faustina on April 30, 2000. In preparation for this Feast Day we should go to confession and pray the Divine Mercy Novena, which begins on Good Friday. Visit the links below for more information and for the Novena Prayers. https://www.thedivinemercy.org/celebrate/greatgrace/dms and https://www.thedivinemercy.org/message/devotions/novena.
Confessions will be heard Monday, March 25th from 7 - 8:00pm and Wednesday, March 27th from 3-4:00pm and 7-8:00pm. There will not be confessions on Good Friday or Holy Saturday.

On March 26, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a case that has the potential to make a major impact in the widespread accessibility of chemical abortion (abortion pills). Chemical abortions are now the most common form of abortion in the United States. The case is in response to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) promoting the availability of chemical abortion while ignoring risks to women and violating federal law. We will invoke the intercession of St. Joseph, Defender of Life. Click here for all the information and the prayer to St. Joseph, Defender of Life. We ask Catholics to offer this prayer daily, from March 25 through June, when a decision is expected.
