Why celebrate this sacrament? It helps me recognize the truth about myself, forgives sins, relieves guilt and gives me a fresh start. I need to hear Christ’s forgiveness and be reassured of his love. I need to celebrate reconciliation with others as well as with God. I need to grow in holiness and recognizing my true self is an important step. |
