Vincentians

The St. Peter Vincentians is a Catholic lay organization of men and women that helps the poor and those with temporary needs. Our outreach helps families with food, clothing, furniture, utility bills, prescription drugs and other needs. The food, furniture, and funds are donated by the parishioners for this cause.

Three major programs are held each year:

  • The Back to School program (July/August)
  • Blanket Sunday (October)
  • The Giving Tree (November/December)

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month. The meeting begins with the praying of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. in the Church. We then adjourn to the Parish Center at 8:00 p.m. for our regular monthly meeting. Our opening meeting in September is held at the Fathers of St. Joseph on Case Rd. We have a dinner, a short meeting, and then Mass. The meeting in June is the closing meeting and again is held at the Fathers of St. Joseph. We have Mass followed by a meeting. The formal part of the meetings usually last approximately one hour.A meeting of friendship is held once a year, generally in April or May, as members and their spouses come together to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.New members are welcome to join.

If you're experiencing hardship and would like to get in touch with someone from this ministry, contact the Parish Secretary.
