"Blessed are they who mourn; they shall be consoled." Mt 5:3  St. Peter parish is heeding the words and example of the Lord Jesus with our Ministry of Consolation. The responsibility of this ministry rests with us, the believing community. Each of us is called to this ministry according to our unique gifts: to care for the dying, to pray for the dead, to comfort those who mourn. Our goal is to let no member of our faith community grieve alone.  To that end, our ministry will include: phone calls, home visits, vigil attendance, Liturgy attendance, Prayer Shawls, Grief Support Groups, and more.
