Certificates of Purchase

 Ordering

The Certificate of Purchase  Order Form can be printed and completed in the comfort of your home.  Then, stop in after Mass at the back porch of the rectory to obtain your desired certificates.  Volunteers are selling the certificates after every Mass.

Order Forms are also available at the Parish Center and at the doors of the church.

General Information

Do your ordinary, everyday shopping at the stores you prefer to frequent and support our parish while doing so. This is made possible through the Certificates of Purchase Program.

You simply purchase the gift certificates after mass or through school if you have a child in our school. You use them just like money at the store. You redeem them for full face-value. We receive a profit since we are able to purchase them at a special rate.

Certificates are available for almost every major grocery chain, retail store and restaurant. We also now have St. Peter Certificates. These can be exchanged for any certificates of equal value that are offered.

Here’s an example of how it works:

You exchange cash, or a check, for an equal amount of certificates (dollar for dollar) to the stores at which you shop.

If your family spends: $75 a week on groceries, $25 a week on gasoline

That alone would total $5000 a year. Multiply that by 5%, and it comes to $250. That $250 is the amount that the Church keeps since the certificates were purchased at a discount. Some of the certificates pay as much as 25% to the parish.

All it cost you was a few minutes of your time after mass, or an order placed through the school. No donation…No loss to you…Just a little advanced planning.

And that example was just groceries and gas!

If only 400 families did $2500 worth of shopping a year in this manner, the parish would make a minimum of $50,000. Think of the potential when you consider travel, gift-giving, Holidays, etc.

This is a very simple way to support our parish!
