Baptism

Baptism1.JPG

The Sacrament of Baptism is the first sacrament of Initiation through which we become members of the Catholic Church. It is birth into the new life of Christ.

In baptism not only are all sins forgiven, but also the newly baptized becomes an adopted child of God, a member of the body of Christ and temple of the Holy Spirit.

Baptism imprints on the soul an indelible spiritual sign. Because of this spiritual sign, Baptism cannot be repeated.

Baptism is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 1:15 p.m. unless otherwise noted in the Parish Calendar.

Diocesan Policy requires that parents attend Pre-Baptism instructions. The  PreBaptism classes are rotated monthly between St. Peter's and St. Julie's.

Call the Parish office or complete and return the registration form below to schedule a baptism or to register for Pre-Baptism class.
